DISNEYLAND

Hello Everyone... i have'nt updated here for a while, lazy mom blogger me. ;-) Anyway, i just want to share our latest escapades - our visit at Disneyland last weekend. It was a surprise treat for our 2 kids because we were so happy about thier school report that thier respective teachers given to us the last day before spring vacation. They got lots of A's on their evaluation report card. And also the hubs suggested to go out with the kids, and he let me to see my friends more often too because i'm not feeling so good because of my father's health condition. He knows that if i stay alone in the house, i spent my whole day being sad and always crying. The kids were totally surprised for the Disneyland treat hihi I have only few photos because it rained and Charlene was not feeling well. We went home early, it was fine though because our tickets are valid until September so we gonna visit Disneyland again on summer. Here are some pics:

Joyeux Anniversaire, mon chéri !

Modified: 02/03/09

Voili voilou...the kids surprised thier papa when he arrived from work. They sung happy birthday they made some drawings as their gift for their papa.

And he's so happy with the new Sony DVD player/recorder he recieved from his wife. He can records now whatever tv programs he want to watch and he can watch them whenever he want. He's kinda spoiled with electronics gadgets lately, last x'mas he got his PS3/blu-ray player and since then he got hooked up with it. Now he got another new stuff. Anyway, i love spoiling him, he deserve it and i love to always please him even maybe just small things. Well, he works hard to provide a solid and comfortable life for our family. He takes care of me and protects me. He is patient with me, he always tells me he loves me and his always top priority is me and our kids. He provides a life for me with a roof over my head, plenty of food to eat, a warm bed, a comfortable life and having beautiful kids! ;-) Anyway he's pampered everyday with simple non material things like i rub his feet and his back, cut his nails, sent him cute msgs by email, making ready his office suits every morning, preparing him a tea, making our home pleasant for him, baking a dessert, watching movie with him...etc. ;-)

quelques photos en vrac

The proud papa always come home early to cuddles baby...

The wooden bunkbed that we ordered finally arrived 2 days ago. We put it in Louis bedroom. Louis is so happy with the new bunkbed, he could invite sometimes a friend to sleep over. In few months we gonna replace Cathy's princess bed in her bedroom too with a white bunkbed for her and her lil' sister.

Louis Carnival at school. He was a ninja turtle! the lil' boy was so proud of his costume.

And here's some pics during our simple get2gether today with few of my friends, i'm still a so big momma..i know i need to shed off few more kilos :-)

Beware of toxic bottles!

Recently, I was reading messages on discussion boards about the possible toxicity of polycarbonate bottles. Ben voilà, i bought some glass bottles for Charlène and since plastic bottles are more easy and unbreakable so i bought also few of Bisphenol free baby bottles in plastic. (Too bad i used polycarbonate plastic bottles for my previous babies...anyway it was done grr!).
As a precaution, here are some tips:
- Prefer glass bottles or bottles made of polyethylene or polypropylene. Polycarbonate contains bisphenol. Get rid of it.
- Do not heat the food or beverages in plastic containers.
- When the plastic is over heated it releases more of bisphenol A.

What is Bisphenol A? Bisphenol A is a chemical substance and a hormone disruptor. In recent studies, bisphenol A has been recognized as potentially hazardous to human health and the environment. The situation is serious enough so that the European Union has introduced a new European standard for testing on baby bottles, beginning in February 2005. Existing tests were already on the presence of well-known dangerous substances such as lead and mercury in the components of the bottles, they now require manufacturers to search for possible contamination by bisphenol A. Most plastic bottles are transparent polycarbonate containing bisphenol A. It has been recognized for some time that scratched polycarbonate bottles and worn release Bisphenol A. A report published in March 2004 the UK has shown that polycarbonate bottles of all types release more bisphenol A are used and sterilized. In the case of plastic bottles, bisphenol contaminated milk or other liquid, especially when there is elevated temperature (hot milk for example). Although the level of migration of Bisphenol A is below the recommended daily allowance, many parents are choosing not to unnecessarily expose their babies to a potentially toxic chemical. Especially because many reputable scientists have stated that the regulatory thresholds were too high and because no study proves that this substance is completely safe.

Charlène à 3 mois

Yes, my lil' Charlène is 3 months today. Three months is also the anniversary of her first year in our world, even if she was still microscopic in my womb.
She grows well and smiling. She loves to play her toys. She also discovers that her hands are nice to put in her mouth. :-)

Voila, few of her latest pics...ma petite boule d'amour:

I compiled her pics and make into a photobooks. Gush, it's fun but also time consuming. The more i can't update this blog to write some posts more often. I finished already her 1st and 2nd month photobooks. Now i started to make for my Louis baby pics while waiting Charlène's 3rd month photos. I'm also getting more serious in learning how to use my DSLR cam, to have a more good quality photos of my kids. Hopefully on this coming holidays, i will get new lenses.

Btw, those are just my latest hobbies and i took the opportunity while i'm still a dakilang SAHM! But i think i will stay being a sahm...i'm loving it. But hey, being a sahm is not mean i'm doing nothing all day huh! Lately i met a new friend in the mall and when she knows i'm not working she immediately said "oh i hate to depend on my husband to bring home the money" and before i reacted to what she said i heard "i could never be a sahm like you, i get bored", "you should go to work what if he leaves you" and goes on. Muntik ko na syang masapak lalo na't luka kung makatingin sakin from head to toe LOL of course kahit mamalengke lang with 3 kids along, i'm always well-dressed haha FYI, being a sahm is really a tough job but i love it because well worth every minute and oh the most rewarding!! Well, to each their own but for me I never get bored, aside of being pretty occupied with my kids, lots of things i have to do in a daily basis to keep my house in order. I'm also earning some money so i am not completely dependant on my hubby. Well, it's obvious that those people have no clue what they are talking about and it's amazing who say those idiotic things they don't even have kids. I hate people who think they know it all. When i told her that i have both -i get to stay at home and make some money while doing what i love. And i have to go to work if i have to. She begun to change her tune...hmp what a retard lol

busy busy mom i am..

The past few weeks was been insanely busy. I have had no time to sit a lil' more longer infront of the pc. We often have some friends coming and visiting us, a couple stayed with us for few days then another some friends came to go shopping with me in the nearby shops. We often go to my inlaws too, and i was also busy hopping from one shop to another hihi well, during massive sales is my fave time for shopping but this time mostly i shop for my 2 older kids Cathy and Louis. They have lots of outgrown clothes already and need new sizes. Life of having 3 kids is hectic! lol also household chores just make me even more busier, i'm a busy mamarazzi too, aside of that i love sleeping with the baby or go strolling outside and chitchatting with other moms in the neighbourhood. In the evening, i rather watching blu-rays films with the hubs than sitting infront the pc.
About my kids, my youngest child is doing great as well the older 2. They loves their baby sister to bits and always wants to give her hugs and kisses. Baby Charlène is still sleeps through the night, healthy and always smile to us. She's just a wonderful lil' baby and really easy. She keeps us active both physically and mentally. I guess so far we are so lucky!

Anyhoo, we are now begin to think about the christening for our baby Charlène...i wanted it to be during spring or summer this year. I don't want to wait too long to baptise her. My eldest Cathy was baptized when already 2 yrs old and my lil' boy was baptized when he was about 1 yr and half. I asked already to a designer (couturier) to make the gown and she sent me already the design for Charlène's christening gown. I just need now to confirm if i like it or to ask her to design another one. We need to go to the church soon too to schedule the date of baptism as well as we'll going to enroll Cathy and Louis in catechism sessions this year. We attended the morning mass last sunday and the kids are likely more getting interested to attend the catechism programs, much to my delight.

Okies, enough for today. Need to tidying up the bedroom of Charlène. She's already 10 weeks old and still receiving lots of gifts and i don't know how to arrange them all. This morning, grandma offered again some gifts and told me once again she's so happy having another granddaughter. And 2 parcels waiting us to pick up in the post office on monday ( we were absent when the postman pass by today) the hubs already guess it is gifts for Charlène from our friends in Britanny. Lately, the town mayor also sent his gifts to Charlène tho our baby was not born in our town and also i think we did'nt voted him last election haha! De tout cœur … merci d’avoir tant gâté notre petit poussin.

I have more tons of photos to upload . I just need to find the time...
